I started photography when I was 19 years old and fell in love with it. My first experience was with 35mm film and various East German Cameras. After a while photography took a back seat as the demands of family life took hold when my film camera was used for family snaps. My love of photography was re-kindled when digital cameras became available and a brand-new adventure began, I loved the freedom involved and the process of being able to easily edit my own work without having to rely on expensive film and mass production processing.

I enjoy genres of photography and am a keen student of it’s history. For now, this web page will mostly feature landscape photography (with a special emphasis on my local patch) but I do want to feature some street and portraiture work at some point.

I have recently returned to using 35mm film for some projects.
